1. The Angel Hotel – Introduction

These are the terms and conditions that apply when you reserve a room at The Angel Hotel using one of our online channels (such as our website, mobile site, Booking.com, Expedia or Late rooms). They also apply to reservations made directly with the hotel (such as over the phone, via email or with a receptionist of the hotel).

Your contract is with The Angel Country Lodge Ltd trading as The Angel Hotel, referred to as we, us, our or the Angel Hotel.

You will be asked to confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions when you make a reservation.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and you should therefore check them each time you make a reservation. The terms and conditions applying to your reservation will be those in place on the date that you make your reservation.

Additional terms apply to your use of our online channels whether or not you make a reservation through them. These are published on the relevant online channel.

2. The Angel Hotel – Reservations

To reserve your room please follow the instructions on our website angelcitylodge.com or our booking agents.
You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation.

You will need to provide your credit or debit card details to secure your reservation. The Angel Hotel accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club to secure a reservation.
Please check that the details of your reservation are complete and accurate before you confirm your reservation. We will not be liable for any delay or non-performance if you provide us with incorrect information.

By making this reservation you accept responsibility and liability for all members of your group and any breach of these terms which they may commit. In the case of corporate bookings the company, partners or owner of the business shall be held liable for the conduct of its guests. It is your responsibility to make all guests aware of these terms and conditions as they may apply to them.
We will confirm our acceptance of your reservation by sending you an email to the email address that you provide during the reservation process. The contract between us for the provision of your room and any additional services added to your reservation will be formed when you receive this email confirmation from us.
If you think that there is a mistake in your reservation or if you require any changes to a confirmed reservation, please contact us on 01730 828111 or info@angelcitylodge.com to discuss.

3. The Angel Hotel – Group Reservations

A reservation of five rooms or more is usually considered a group booking. If you wish to make a group booking, please call 01730 828111 and our reception team will help with your enquiry.

4. The Angel Hotel - Room Prices

The Angel Hotel adopts dynamic pricing and the price of our rooms fluctuates based on demand. When you make a booking enquiry, we’ll give you a total price for the rooms and number of nights you’ve requested. The price you pay is the price quoted to you at the time you make your reservation.

Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your reservation. If the rate of VAT changes between the date of your reservation and the date of your stay, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the reservation in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.

5. The Angel Hotel – Occupancy

The maximum room occupancy is two adults. Family rooms (where available) can accommodate two adults and two children (under the age of 16). You must not exceed the maximum occupancy for the room allocated to you.

Children under 16 are not permitted to stay at The Angel Hotel unless a parent or guardian is also staying in the hotel.

6. The Angel Hotel – Special Requests

Although The Angel will try to accommodate special requests, all rooms are subject to availability. If the guest requests a cot bed or a z bed this will cost an additional £10 per stay, again these are subject to availability.

7. The Angel Hotel – Meals

At The Angel meals are not included in the room price.
You may add breakfast when you make your reservation.

8. The Angel Hotel – Payment Terms

To accept a booking you must be able to provide a valid debit or credit card when booking. Failure to provide one will result in the reservation being rejected.
The hotel reserves the right to take a deposit for the first night’s stay of a reservation. If you have not paid for your room and any extras added to your booking in full at the time you make your reservation, you will need to pay on arrival.

Payment may be made by cash, credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Maestro and Electron). The expiry date of your debit/card must be later than the end of your stay. We do not accept personal cheques.

The Angel Hotel reserves the right to charge payment at anytime before or after booking with any card associated with the person securing the booking.

Credit facilities are available only by prior arrangement.

9. The Angel Hotel – Cancellation Terms

If you cancel a reservation after 48 hours prior to the arrival time (2pm on the date of check-in), you will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to one nights accommodation per room booked. The cancellation fee will be charged to the debit or credit card used to make your reservation.

If your room has already been paid for in advance, and you cancel your reservation more than 24 hours prior to arrival time (2pm on the date of check-in), a full refund will be processed to the same debit/credit card. This may take several days to reach your account depending on your issuing bank.

If your reservation was made with one of our online booking channels (Booking.com, Expedia or Late Rooms), and you need to cancel a reservation, then you will need to contact the booking channel directly as we are prohibited from making alterations to reservations on behalf of guests. Failure to do this can again result in a cancellation fee.

You may wish to take out room cancellation insurance in case you need to cancel your reservation.

You are not entitled to cancel or withdraw from your reservation under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
